This is the perfect thermometer to use while boiling. The arrow will make one full revolution and land on the bold “7” marker when the syrup is ready to draw off. SPECS: Easy to read numbers 0–50 scale Bold “7” to indicate draw-off temperature 1/4″ male NPT fitting Various dial face sizes available Various stem lengths available Screw adjustment on back for exceptional accuracy. NOTES ON STEM SIZES: Smoky Lake drop-flue and raised-flue pan sets generally work best with a 9″ stem thermometer. Smoky Lake hybrid pans and flat pans generally work best with a 6″ stem thermometer. Please note that a 5 dial face is NOT compatible with a Full Pint pan. For compatible thermometer on a Full Pint, please see our 3 dial face thermometer.
