Our Butcher Block Countertops are 1.5" thick solid Black Walnut, Hard Maple, Black Limba or Mountain Cherry.Our butcher blocks are made from edge grain hard wood for long lasting beauty, Edge grain is denser than face grain giving you a more robust surface ideal for cutting. We hand-select and mill each wood board using only full length boards, so there are absolutely no finger joints or mismatched butt joints, just long beautiful uninterrupted Walnut grain.Please note that every custom countertop is unique given that the wood grain for hardwood is variable.
