Coarse and Fine with the Dick Duo The Dick Duo is two fast acting steels in one. The oval profile of this steel has two diamond coated surfaces, and two ceramic coated. The Diamond coated areas are on the smaller radius ends of the oval. They provide very high abrasion and are designed to quickly reestablish a good edge on a dull knife. The Ceramic surfaces are on the wide flats of the oval, which gives them excellent contact area with the blade in use, making for fast honing.
