The Magic Bullet® suppository special formulation contains water soluble (polyethel glycol) and causes the active ingredient bisacodyl to disperse within minutes after insertion stimulating the bowel. The Magic Bullet® suppository does not use an oil base (hydrogenated vegetable oil) as found in other bisacodyl-based laxatives. The oil base in these other suppositories has to melt before the bisacodyl can stimulate the bowel to contract and push out the stool. The Magic Bullet® suppository allows faster stimulation of the bowel allowing stool movement within 15 minutes to begin. The sooner the bowel movement is completed meaning less time on your bowel program. The Magic Bullet® acts quickly and contains a full 10mg of bisacodyl USP. Application
Remove the suppository from the outer white wrapper.
You should use a water-soluble lubricant such as KY or Surgilube to ease insertion and insure ease of entry.
Vaseline (Petroleum Jelly) should NEVER be used as it is barrier between the active ingredient and the bowel.
