Exquisitely made by the craftsmen at the Iwachu casting works in Japan, the design suggests a dragonfly hovering over the ripples of a pond. The teapot is 26 ounce compactly and is hand painted in 'Spring Grass' green.
This Teapot has a removable stainless steel basket which means that the tea can be brewed for the optimal length of time and then removed so tea remains warm without over-extracting and getting bitter.
In Asia the dragonfly is a symbol of joy and happiness as well as a symbol of courage and strength.
